In this article, you will learn how to share images using an Amazon S3 Bucket.
Creating an S3 Bucket
►Login to your AWS Management Console and navigate to S3 in the Storage section.
►Click on Create Bucket to create an S3 Bucket.
►Give a name for your S3 Bucket.
►Allow all public access to your Bucket and objects. As blocking all public access may restrict others from viewing our bucket.
►Leave all the other permissions to default and click on Create Bucket.
►You have successfully created your S3 Bucket.
Creating an Object
►Click on your S3 Bucket and click on Upload under objects.
►Now click on Add files and upload the image that you want to share.
►Under Permissions, grant the public access and click on Upload. For sharing our S3 objects or images with others, we need to give public access for both the bucket and the object.
►Now, you can see your image in the objects.
►Click on the image and save the Object URL under Properties.
►Open the new tab and enter the Object URL. Now, your image gets displayed.
►You can share the Object URL with whomever you want to share the image.
I also run a small youtube channel on some exciting topics, do look into it. 🙂
